Splankna Therapy
Splankna is a biblically based Christian mind-body protocol that releases trauma and negative emotions from the body and soul. It is centered around the Holy Spirit’s leading and uses the tools of EMDR, Neuro-Emotional Technique, Thought Field Therapy (Emotional Freedom Technique), Applied Kinesiology (muscle testing), and intentional prayer.
Splankna's work brings together the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of an issue all at once. This “whole person” approach can often facilitate change at a deeper level than more traditional methods. When body, soul, and spirit work together, the potential for change is maximized.
Every moment we experience is stored in the body at the frequency level, much like a hard drive. Emotional symptoms come from traumatic moments in our lives and the memories and emotions the body stores in response. Current situations trigger old, stored emotional trauma frequencies, and we overreact. The body IS ABLE to release these emotional frequencies. In Splankna therapy, we ask God to lead us to these stored emotional frequencies through applied kinesiology(muscle testing). Muscle Testing assesses the frequency of the energy released from the nucleus of the cell.
Splankna helps the client discover destructive vows and lies that were adopted in response to the trauma. Those are broken in prayer, and new, healthy ways of responding emerge and replace old patterns.
One by one, the stored emotions from the root trauma are released so that the fuel behind a current symptom is resolved. Over the last 25 years of Splankna’s development, practitioners have witnessed several different issues resolved, including anger, anxiety, addiction, sexual problems, depression, autoimmune disorders, and spiritual issues.
I am also certified in Listening Splankna, where sessions are virtual and do not use applied kinesiology (muscle testing). These appointments are reserved for those outside the Houston area.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Splankna is the Greek word σπλάγχνα (splanchna, plural of σπλάγχνον / splanchnon), which literally translates to the inward parts, viscera, or bowels (such as the heart, lungs, liver, and intestines). Splagchnizomai (σπλαγχνίζομαι) is a powerful New Testament verb meaning "to be moved in the bowels" or to have a deep, gut-wrenching, visceral response of compassion (frequently used to describe Jesus's reaction to suffering). Splankna Therapy uses the word to express the subconscious, which handles thoughts, memories, fears, and habits that do not enter your immediate focus. It quietly shapes your reactions, emotional responses, and decision-making without your deliberate control.

Everyone is different, but most of my clients see a shift after the first session and begin to see dramatic change after 3 to 4 sessions. Those who continue for 12 sessions or more see the most change in every area of their life.

Splankna addresses the emotional roots that may contribute to physical symptoms. Many clients report improvements in chronic pain, sleep issues, digestive problems, and other physical concerns after releasing stored emotional trauma. However, Splankna does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.

Yes. Splankna is gentle, non-invasive, and honors your pace. You remain in control throughout the session. We never push, force, or retraumatize. The goal is to create a calm, safe environment where your nervous system can release what it's ready to release.

Splankna is beneficial for individuals of all ages. Because the subconscious mind begins developing in the womb, this work can support even the youngest lives. I have partnered with pregnant mothers looking to shield their unborn babies from gestational stress, and my practice spans all generations—from newborns and young children to elderly adults.
Splankna is a very safe, unintrusive therapy. I like to call it “A beautiful time with Jesus.”
